A modern mentorship camp for children and teens, inspired by the traditional Ekisaakate practice of Western Uganda — building character, confidence, and practical life skills at Grace Farm.
Ekisaakate is a traditional mentorship practice from the kingdoms of Western Uganda, where young people were guided by trusted elders and aunties in the practical skills and social values needed for adult life — long before formal classrooms existed.
Kyisakati reimagines this heritage for today's children and teens. Through hands-on mentorship at Grace Farm, we help young people build the confidence, discipline, and life skills that heritage once passed down around the fireside — public speaking, hygiene, cooking, etiquette, and emotional wellbeing.
Building confidence to speak up, present ideas, and be heard.
Practical daily habits for health, cleanliness, and self-care.
Hands-on kitchen skills and appreciation for local food.
Respect, manners, and how to navigate social situations with grace.
Age-appropriate tools for emotional wellbeing and resilience.
A gentle introduction to hygiene habits, kitchen basics, respectful communication, and simple confidence-building exercises, delivered through play and guided activities.
A deeper dive into public speaking, social etiquette, practical cooking, and mental health awareness — preparing teens for the confidence and responsibility of early adulthood.
Kyisakati sessions are held at Grace Farm, an open, natural setting suited to hands-on learning — away from screens and distractions, where children and teens can practice real skills in a real environment.
